  • Can it be applied in cold or humid conditions?

    It performs well at low temperatures (-40℃), but substrates must be dry. Avoid application on wet surfaces as moisture may affect long-term adhesion.

  • Is it resistant to chemicals or salt spray?

     It withstands acids, alkalis, and salt spray. Passing 500-hour salt spray tests, it’s ideal for marine, chemical, and outdoor corrosive environments.

  • How to handle gaps larger than 3mm?

    Layer the film appropriately or use a thicker variant. Press firmly to ensure full contact with the substrate; avoid stretching to prevent adhesion failure.

  • Can it be used outdoors for long-term exposure?

    Yes. With excellent UV, weather, and aging resistance, it maintains performance for over 15 years outdoors, adapting to -40℃~180℃ temperature ranges.

  • What substrates is butyl film compatible with?

    It bonds firmly to metal, glass, concrete, plastics, and wood without primers. Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free of oil/dust for optimal adhesion.
